e. INSPECTION
Clean the valves, piston and the cylinder with fresh ATF
(automatic transmission fluid) and blow them with
compressed air before inspection.
• DOWN RELIEF VALVE
Check the down relief valve seat, valve spring, steel ball and
the spring guide for wear or damage. Replace the part(s) with
new one(s) if necessary.
• UPPER CHAMBER SAFETY VALVE
Check the upper chamber safety valve for wear or damage.
Replace the upper chamber safety valve with a new one if
necessary.
• PISTON ROD COMP./FREE PISTON
Check the piston rod comp. for wear or bent rod.
Replace the piston rod comp. with a new one if necessary.
• Do not disassemble the piston rod comp. Replace it as an
assembly.
Check the outer surface of the free piston for scores, scratches
or wear.
Replace the free piston with a new one if necessary.
• CYLINDER
Check the inner wall of the cylinder for damage.
Replace the cylinder with a new one if necessary.
• MANUAL VALVE/SEAL WASHER
Check the manual valve for wear or damage.
Replace the manual valve with a new one if necessary.
Check the seal washer for cuts or deterioration.
Replace the seal washer with a new one if necessary.
• SPOOL VALVE/SLEEVE/VALVE COMP. B
Check the spool valve for wear, damage or blockage with
foreign material.
Replace the spool valve with a new one if necessary.
Check the sleeve for wear or damage.
Replace the sleeve with a new one if necessary.
Check the valve comp. for wear, damage or blockage with
foreign material.
Replace the valve comp. with a new one if necessary.
