13) Set the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor wire
in the motor wire bushing.
Install the motor wire bushing on the L. stern bracket
aligning the projection on the motor wire bushing with the
recess in the L. stern bracket.
• Check that the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle
sensor wire are not slack on the backside of the L. stern
bracket.
14) Clamp the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor
wire at the taped part on the power tilt motor wire using the
wire harness clip. Take care not to pinch the spiral tube.
15) Pass the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor
wire through the hole in the engine under case.
Rout the power tilt motor wire and the trim angle sensor
wire through the under case grommet C, and install the
under case grommet C on the engine under case.
16) Set the trim angle sensor wire on the opening side of the
14 mm clip and set the power tilt motor wire on the inner
side of the 14 mm clip as shown.
17) Set the 14 mm clip on the taped part of the power tilt motor
wire and the trim angle sensor wire, and secure the clip to
the engine under case using the 5 x 10 mm rivet screw as
shown. Take care not to pinch the spiral tube.
