22) Remove the cap from the tiller handle assembly, and
loosen the 8 x 50 mm socket bolt by approx. 10 mm (0.4 in).
Remove the shift lever from the tiller handle assembly by
tapping the bolt head with a plastic hammer.
Remove the 8 x 50 mm socket bolt and the 8 mm washer
from the shift lever, and remove the lever stopper and the
shift lever from the tiller handle assembly.
Remove the 20.6 x 1.9 mm O-ring from the shift lever.
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
Check the bushing for wear or damage and replace it with
a new one if necessary.

23) Remove the two 6 x 12 mm bolt washers from the shift
frame assembly.
24) Remove the three 5 x 12 mm bolts and the three 5 mm
washers, and remove the throttle arm/throttle rod
assembly and the shift frame assembly as a set.
25) Remove the 9 mm E-ring, and remove the throttle rod and
the two 10 mm washers.
