d. INSTALLATION
1) Check that the "T " mark on the pulser rotor is in alignment
with the "T " mark on the cylinder head.
2) While aligning the "
" mark on the guide plate with the "
" mark on the cylinder plate, set the guide plate on the
crankshaft with the "
" mark toward up.
3) Install the 25 x 14 mm woodruff key on the crankshaft.
4) Install the timing pulley with the projection toward down
while aligning the key groove in the timing pulley with the
25 x 14 mm woodruff key that is set on the crankshaft.
If there is clearance between the guide plate and the timing
pulley, remove the clearance by turning the guide plate.
Align the "
" mark on the guide plate with the "
" mark
on the timing pulley.
5) Install the timing belt guide plate on the crankshaft.
• Note the timing belt guide plate installation direction.
6) Apply engine oil to the threads and seat of the 48 mm lock
nut.
7) Loosely tighten the 48 mm lock nut.
