Smontaggio gruppo
cilindro / pistone
Note
Questa operazione è
documentata con motore rimosso dal
telaio, dopo aver smontato la testa
(Sez. N 4.5).
Utilizzando un punzone, rimuovere
l’anello OR (11) dalla propria sede sul
gruppo termico.
Attenzione
Utilizzare ad ogni rimontaggio
un anello OR (11) nuovo.
Rimuovere gli anelli OR (18) e (6).
Utilizzando l’attrezzo
88713.0123
portare il pistone del cilindro
orizzontale vicino al P.M.S.
Estrarre con cautela il cilindro (10),
sfilandolo perpendicolarmente.
Se necessario, scuoterlo
leggermente con entrambe le mani,
oppure battere leggeri colpi con un
mazzuolo in gomma, alla base del
cilindro stesso. Sollevarlo fino a che
risulta accessibile lo spinotto (3)
del pistone.
Onde evitare, in fase di rimontaggio,
l'operazione difficoltosa di inserimento
del pistone all'interno del cilindro,
è consigliabile rimuovere i due
componenti accoppiati, procedendo
come segue.
Otturare l'apertura del carter con uno
strofinaccio, oppure carta morbida,
in modo tale che oggetti estranei o
semplici residui solidi, non possano
cadere all'interno del basamento.
Disassembly of the
cylinder / piston
Notes
This operation is described with
the engine removed from the frame
and the cylinder head removed
(Sect. N 4.5).
Using a punch, remove the O-ring (11)
from its seat on the cylinder unit.
Warning
At reassembly, always use a
new O-ring (11).
Remove O-rings (18) and (6).
Use tool
88713.0123
to bring the
piston of the horizontal cylinder to
TDC.
Carefully withdraw cylinder (10)
perpendicularly from the crankcase.
If necessary, rock the cylinder slightly
using both hands or tap its base
gently with a rubber mallet. Continue
to raise the cylinder until you can
access gudgeon pin (3).
So as to avoid, on reassembly, the
difficult operation of installing the
piston in the cylinder, we recommend
removing both components as a
single assembly, as follows.
Block off the opening in the engine
casing with a rag or soft paper to
prevent foreign material from falling
into the crankcase.
