Sensore pressione aria
Questo sensore è integrato all'interno
del cruscotto e fornisce l'indicazione
della pressione atmosferica. Tale dato
viene inviato alla centralina per mezzo
della linea seriale (linea CAN), e verrà
utilizzato per attivare le eventuali
correzioni sulle calibrazioni
memorizzate nella Flash Eprom.
Note
Per eseguire la prova di
funzionamento di questo componente
è necessario disporre dello strumento
di diagnosi “DDS”, seguendo le
indicazioni riportate al paragrafo
“Diagnosi guidata” (Sez. D 5).
Sensore temperatura
acqua
Il sensore è fissato al raccordo di
uscita acqua dalla testa orizzontale e
rileva la temperatura del liquido di
raffreddamento. Il segnale elettrico
ottenuto giunge alla centralina
elettronica e viene utilizzato per
effettuare le correzioni sulle
calibrazioni memorizzate nella Flash
Eprom, in modo da ottenere sempre
l'accensione e l'alimentazione
migliore. Inoltre questo stesso dato
viene inviato al cruscotto tramite linea
CAN, per la visualizzazione della
temperatura dell'acqua. È costituito
da un corpo nel quale è contenuto un
termistore di tipo NTC (NTC significa
che la resistenza del termistore
diminuisce all’aumentare della
temperatura).
Note
Per eseguire la prova di
funzionamento è necessario disporre
dello strumento di diagnosi “DDS”,
seguendo le indicazioni riportate al
paragrafo “Diagnosi guidata”
(Sez. D 5).
Smontaggio sensore
temperatura acqua
Per lo smontaggio del sensore di
temperatura acqua rimuovere la
carenatura sinistra (Sez. E 2) ed il
supporto batteria come spiegato in
questa sezione.
Scollegare il connettore del cablaggio.
Svitare il sensore (1) dal distributore
acqua (2).
Rimontaggio sensore
temperatura acqua
Operare con il procedimento inverso
allo smontaggio, bloccando il sensore
sul raccordo alla coppia di serraggio
prescritta (Sez. C 3) ed applicandogli
frenafiletti prescritto.
Rimontare la carena sinistra (Sez. E 2).
Air pressure sensor
This sensor is integrated in the
instrument panel and indicates
the atmospheric air pressure.
This information is sent to the ECU
by a serial line (CAN line), and is used
to correct the calibrations stored in
the Flash EPROM.
Notes
To test the operation of the
injector, use the DDS tester and
follow the instructions given under
the heading “Guided diagnosis”
(Sect. D 5).
Coolant temperature
sensor
This sensor is mounted to the
horizontal head coolant outlet
fitting and measures the coolant
temperature. This information is sent
to the ECU and used to correct the
calibrations stored in the Flash
EPROM so as to ensure optimal
ignition and fuel supply. The same
information is sent to the instrument
panel via the CAN line for the coolant
temperature display. It comprises a
housing containing an NTC thermistor
(NTC means that the thermistor
resistance decreases as the
temperature increases).
Notes
To test the operation of the
coolant temperature sensor, use the
DDS tester and follow the instructions
given under the heading “Guided
diagnosis” (Sect. D 5).
Removing the coolant
temperature sensor
To remove the coolant temperature
sensor, first remove the LH side
fairing (Sect. E 2) and the battery
mount (as explained in this section).
Disconnect the wiring harness
connector.
Unscrew the sensor (1) from the
coolant manifold (2).
Refitting the coolant
temperature sensor
Refit by reversing the removal
operations, securing the sensor to the
union with the specified torque
(Sect. C 3) and applying the
recommended threadlocker.
Refit the LH side fairing (Sect. E 2).
