Regolazione
ammortizzatore
posteriore
L’ammortizzatore posteriore è dotato
di registri esterni che permettono di
adeguare l’assetto della moto alle
condizioni di carico.
Il registro (1), posto sul lato sinistro, in
corrispondenza del fissaggio inferiore
dell’ammortizzatore al forcellone,
regola il freno idraulico nella fase di
estensione (ritorno).
Il registro (2), sul serbatoio di
espansione dell’ammortizzatore,
regola il freno idraulico nella fase di
compressione.
Ruotando in senso orario i registri (1)
e (2) si aumenta il freno; viceversa
diminuisce.
Taratura
Standard
:
dalla posizione di tutto chiuso (senso
orario) svitare i registri (1) e (2) di:
1
14
click
2
10
click.
Precarico molla:
14
mm.
Le ghiere (3) e (4), poste nella parte
superiore dell’ammortizzatore,
registrano il precarico della molla
esterna.
Per modificare il precarico della molla
allentare, con una chiave a settore,
la ghiera superiore (3). Avvitando o
svitando la ghiera inferiore (4)
aumenterà o diminuirà il precarico.
Impostato il precarico desiderato
serrare la ghiera superiore di
bloccaggio.
Attenzione
Per ruotare le ghiere di
registrazione del precarico utilizzare
solamente una chiave specifica ed
usarla con particolare cautela per
evitare che il dente della chiave
possa uscire improvvisamente
dal vano della ghiera durante il
movimento. Se ciò dovesse
accadere, la mano dell’utilizzatore
potrebbe urtare violentemente altre
parti del motociclo. Non utilizzare
assolutamente chiavi con dente
troppo piccolo o con impugnatura
troppo corta.
Attenzione
L’ammortizzatore contiene gas
ad alta pressione e potrebbe causare
seri danni se smontato da personale
inesperto.
Adjusting the rear shock
absorber
The shock absorber has external
adjusters that enable you to adapt the
rear suspension to suit the load
conditions.
Adjuster (1), located on the left-hand
side at the point at which the shock
absorber is fixed to the swingarm,
controls rebound damping.
The adjuster (2) located on the rear
shock absorber reservoir is used to
adjust compression damping.
Turn the adjusters (1) and (2)
clockwise to increase damping,
or counter clockwise to reduce
damping.
Standard
settings:
turn adjusters (1) and (2) all the way in
(clockwise), then slacken them by:
1
14
clicks
2
10
clicks.
Spring preload:
14
mm.
Ring nuts (3) and (4), located at the
top of the shock absorber, serve to
adjust the preload of the outer spring.
To adjust the spring preload, unscrew
the upper adjuster nut (3) using a pin
wrench. Screw the lower nut (4) in or
out to increase or reduce the preload.
Once the desired spring preload has
been set, lock down the upper ring
nut.
Warning
To turn the preload adjuster ring
nuts, use only a specific tool and take
care, otherwise the wrench pins
may suddenly slip out of the ring nut.
This could injure your hands.
Never use a wrench with too small
a pin or with a too short handle.
Warning
The shock absorber is filled
with high-pressure gas and can cause
injuries if inexpertly dismantled.
