Regolazione forcella
anteriore
La forcella è regolabile sia nella fase di
estensione sia nella compressione
degli steli.
La regolazione avviene per mezzo dei
registri esterni a vite:
1) per modificare il freno idraulico in
estensione;
2) per modificare il precarico delle
molle interne;
3) per modificare il freno idraulico in
compressione.
Posizionare il motociclo in verticale,
in modo stabile.
Ruotare con apposita chiave il
registro (1), posto sulla sommità di
ogni stelo forcella, per intervenire
sul freno idraulico in estensione.
Per agire sul registro (3) introdurre
apposita chiave nell’asola ricavata
dietro il piedino forcella.
Ruotando le viti (1) e (3) di regolazione
si avvertiranno degli scatti, ognuno
dei quali corrisponde ad una posizione
di smorzamento.
Avvitando completamente la vite fino
a bloccarla si ottiene la posizione “0”,
che corrisponde alla massima
frenatura.
A partire da questa posizione,
ruotando in senso antiorario, si
possono contare i vari scatti che
corrisponderanno successivamente
alle posizioni 1, 2, ecc.
Le posizioni standard sono le
seguenti:
Compressione:
10
click.
Estensione:
12
click.
Precarico molla:
10
mm.
Range di regolazione
Estensione:
28
click.
Compressione:
30
click.
Precarico molla:
40
mm.
Per modificare il precarico della molla
interna ad ogni stelo ruotare il registro
ad estremità esagonale (2) con una
chiave.
La taratura originale corrisponde a
10
mm.
Importante
Regolare i registri di entrambi
gli steli sulle medesime posizioni.
Adjusting the front fork
The front fork features both
compression and rebound damping
adjustment.
The settings are adjusted by way of
external adjuster screws:
1) to adjust hydraulic rebound
damping;
2) to adjust the spring preload;
3) to adjust hydraulic compression
damping.
Place the motorcycle in an upright
position and ensure that it is stable.
To adjust the rebound damping
setting, turn the adjuster (1) on the
top of each fork leg with a suitable
wrench.
To turn the adjuster (3), insert a
suitable wrench in the slot behind the
fork foot.
Adjusters (1) and (3) have click
positions corresponding to different
damping settings.
The hardest damping is obtained with
the adjuster fully tightened to the “0”
position.
Start in this position and turn anti-
clockwise. Count the clicks, which
correspond to setting 1, 2 and so
forth.
Standard settings:
Compression:
10
clicks.
Rebound:
12
clicks.
Spring preload:
10
mm.
Adjustment range
Rebound:
28
clicks.
Compression:
30
clicks.
Spring preload:
40
mm.
To adjust the spring preload, turn the
hexagonal adjuster (2) on the end of
each fork leg with a wrench.
The factory preload setting is
10
mm.
Important
Adjust both fork legs to same
setting.
