Connessione alla moto
Lo strumento richiede una tensione
di alimentazione compresa fra
9 e
16 Volt C.C.
Prestare attenzione durante l’impiego
a non scendere sotto il livello di
tensione minimo: questa eventualità
si potrebbe verificare durante le fasi di
avviamento e di rotazione del motore
al regime minimo nelle moto la cui
batteria non sia perfettamente
efficiente. Se lo strumento rileva una
tensione di alimentazione inferiore a
9 Volt si verifica l’azzeramento delle
procedure in corso, quando la
tensione ritornerà ai valori
caratteristici dovrà procedere
nuovamente all’impostazione delle
procedure.
Lo strumento DDS (1) può essere
alimentato dal motoveicolo in uno dei
seguenti modi:
- collegando al connettore di
alimentazione (N) dello strumento
l'alimentatore da batteria (13) e
quest'ultimo alla batteria del
motoveicolo;
- collegando al connettore di
diagnosi (P) dello strumento il cavo
di alimentazione e diagnosi (2);
collegare poi alla presa (R) di
quest'ultimo l'adattatore presa
batteria (8) e l'adattatore alla
batteria del motoveicolo.
Connection to the motorcycle
The tester requires a power supply of
between
9 and 16 Volt DC.
When using the tester, take care
never to allow the power supply to fall
below the minimum voltage: this
situation could occur during engine
starting and idling on motorcycles in
which the battery is not in perfect
working order. If the tester detects a
power supply voltage of less than
9 Volt, the current procedure will be
aborted; when the voltage returns to
within the acceptable tolerance limits
the procedure must be initiated again
from the beginning.
The DDS tester (1) may be powered
from the motorcycle in any one of the
following ways:
- connect the battery power
adapter (13) to the power
connection socket (N) on the tester
and to the motorcycle battery;
- connect the power and diagnostic
cable (2) to the diagnostic
connection socket (P) on the tester;
then connect the battery socket
adapter (8) to the connection
socket (R) on the power and
diagnostics cable and to the
motorcycle battery.
