Enter one of three dialing options that are available. This identifies the destination of all calls when this
data module originates calls.
HOT LINE DESTINATION — Abbreviated
Dialing Dial Code
Only displays when the
Special Dialing Option
field is hot-line or default (S8700 IP-Connect only).
The associated AD number is dialed when the user goes off-hook on a Data Hot Line call.
Hot Line Service allows single-line telephone users, by simply lifting the handset, to automatically place
a call to a preassigned destination (extension, telephone number, or feature access code).
The Hot Line Service destination number is stored in an Abbreviated Dialing List.
A Direct Department Calling (DDC), a Uniform Call Distribution (UCD), a Terminating Extension
Group (TEG) extension, or any individual extension within a group can be a Hot Line Service
destination. Also, any extension within a DDC group, UDC group, or TEG can have Hot Line Service
assigned.
