Community Name (read-only)
field, type the name.

The user can query agents for information (SNMP GETSs) and send commands to an agent
(SNMP SETs).

In the SNMP version 2c section, check the Enable SNMP Version 2c box if SNMP Version 2 is
needed.

This is the SNMP version of the protocol to be used in communicating with the SNMP agents on

Your entry must be in any alphanumeric format and up to 50 characters in length.

The SNMP agents on this server can be programmed to accept incoming SNMP messages from a
restricted list of SNMP managers. If an SNMP message is received from an IP address not listed,
it is dropped.

Displaying the MIB Reference Document
The Management Information Base (MIB) reference document lists the details of Communication
Manager data for SNMP management. The MIB can be used to interpret SNMP data that is supported by
the Communication Manager SNMP Agent.
To display the MIB reference document:

On the main page, under Alarms, click on SNMP Agents.
The system displays the SNMP Agents page.

Click on Download G3-Avaya-MIB.
The system displays a text file of the MIB.
