Adjust the output torque (current) of the motor
Parameter
6 - 36
Starting torque adjustment
The set value indicates the percentage of the maximum output voltage at 0 Hz by which the output
voltage is increased. The voltage increases in direct proportion to the frequency from the time of start-
up until the operating frequency and voltage have been reached..
Set multiple base frequencies (RT signal, Pr. 46)
Use the second torque boost when changing the torque boost according to application or when us-
ing multiple motors by switching between them by one inverter.
Pr. 46 "Second torque boost" is made valid when the RT signal turns on. For the terminal used for RT
signal input, set "3" in any of Pr. 178 to Pr. 184.

CAUTION:
This setting should be made with great care.
If the set value is too high then the motor is operated with overvoltage and reaches magnetic
saturation. The current consumption rises dramatically in a saturated motor without any con-
comitant improvement in torque. Adjust the parameter little by little (about 0.5%), and check
the motor status each time. If the setting is too large, the motor will overheat. The guideline is
about 10% at the greatest.
The requirements of the motor manufacturer must also be observed.
