Selection and protection of a motor
Parameter

6.8.3
To exhibit the best performance of the motor performance
(offline auto tuning) (Pr. 71, Pr. 80 to Pr. 84, Pr. 90 to Pr. 94, Pr. 96, Pr. 859)
The motor performance can be maximized with offline auto tuning.
What is offline auto tuning?
●
When performing advanced magnetic flux vector control or general-purpose magnetic flux vector
control, the motor can be run with the optimum operating characteristics by automatically
measuring the motor constants (offline autotuning) even when each motor constants differs,
other manufacturer's motor is used, or the wiring length is long.
The above parameters can be set when Pr. 160 "User group read selection" = 0.
