COMMAND SUMMARY
The overall command structure for VP 300 maintenance commands is different from the verb-noun
protocol used in the UPDATE program. The following tables illustrate the format for each command with
BOLD letters in the left column indicating the minimum input. In some instances, a modifier and
extension may be required to complete the command string.
The system indicates it is ready to receive information by displaying the @ prompt. Complete examples of
the commands are provided in the Configuration manual, and in this chapter.
All command strings must be followed by
before the system executes the command.

Listing Tables
Tables are listed from the @ prompt by entering LIST followed by the table name. To abbreviate,
enter:
L (table name)
For example, to list the Hardware Error Table, at the @ prompt enter L H. A space is always required
between the L (for LIST) and the following letter.

Prints the optional packages the VP 300 has installed. Gives the maximum
number of ports, drives SCHEDULE Table entries, and mailboxes.

Lists the Hardware Error Table.

LIST HEADER (x = MESSAGE NUMBER)
Lists the status of a message.
L INT n m
LIST INTEGRATION STATUS
Lists the current state of the integration board, the diagnostic status, the status of
the links, and the pegs.
n = slot number
m = unit number
L M XXXX
LIST MAILBOX (XXXX = MAILBOX NUMBER)
Lists the current configuration for the mailbox specified.
L M x M
LIST MAILBOX M (x = MAILBOX NUMBER) (Release 6.1 or later)
Lists information about messages for a specific mailbox.
L NET XXXX
LIST NETWORK MAILBOX (XXXX = NETWORK LOCATION CODE)
Lists messages in the network mailbox waiting to be sent to the specified
network location.
