Create the Directory

This step creates the file directory for Release L5.X.X software. The

Restore System Software
22. @SUBMIT F:
Copies Release 5 software from the floppy to the hard disk. This step

loads the operating code into the files just created.
This step creates the files that are new for Release 5. If the VP 300 has
already been running on an earlier version of Release 5, some of these
files may already exist.
When this step attempts to create one of these files, the VP 300
displays the following message.
This message is normal, and may be disregarded.
23. Insert the Release 5
Software Diskette #2
into the FD.
24. @SUBMIT F:
This step copies additional Release 5 software files onto the hard disk.
