System Parameters System Parameter 79 — LAMP MW: “ON” PRE-EXTENSION
DIGITS
Modify the value of System Parameter 79 to be the PBX feature
access code for Message Waiting — Activate.
System Parameter 80 — LAMP MW: “ON” POST-EXTENSION
DIGITS
Use the character E, expect dial tone, to ensure that the VP 300
checks for dial tone after attempting to activate a message waiting
indicator. If the PBX does not provide dial tone, the message waiting
activation was not successful.
System Parameter 81 — LAMP MW: “OFF” PRE-EXTENSION
DIGITS
Modify the value of System Parameter 81 to be the PBX feature
access code for Message Waiting – Deactivate.
System Parameter 82 — LAMP MW: “OFF” POST-EXTENSION
DIGITS
Use the character E, expect dial tone, to ensure that the VP 300
checks for dial tone after attempting to deactivate a message waiting
indicator. If the PBX does not provide dial tone, the message waiting
deactivate was not successful.
System Parameter 170 — INTEGRATION LAMP ON/OFF LINK
MUST MATCH
For SX-2000 systems using multiple dedicated MIC MWI ports,
modify the value of System Parameter 170 to be YES.
System Parameter 191 — HOUR TO REACTIVATE MSG WTG
INDICATORS
Modify the value of System Parameter 191 to be the hour when the
VP System should automatically update message waiting indicators.
This function is required if the SX-2000 is using the COV Voice Mail
Port class of service option for MWI, or if the SX 2000 performs
periodic plane transfers or restarts. Set System Parameter 191 to be
one hour later than the hour when the SX-2000 performs its plane
transfer or restart.
