Action VP 300 Description and Response
Create the Directory
19. @SUBMIT F: This step creates the file directory for Release L.6.X.X software. The
CREDIR VP 300 prompts you to confirm the directory initialization:

If no errors were detected, continue with the next step.
Restore System Software
21. @SUBMIT F: Copies software from the floppy diskette to the hard disk. This step
CODE1 loads the operating code into the files just created.

The system attempts to access system drives 1 and 2. The
following message appears if the system is configured for only
system drive 1. This message is acceptable only if system drive
2 is not configured.
22. Insert Software Diskette
#2 (for the correct release
level) into the FD.
23. @SUBMIT F: This step copies additional software files onto the hard disk.

24. Remove Software Diskette
#2 and insert Software
Diskette #1.

For systems at Release 7.1, steps 25 and 26 are not necessary. Go to step 27.
25. Restart the system.
At the @ prompt enter
