FORWARDED INTERNAL CALL FROM AN EXTENSION THAT DOES NOT
HAVE THE EXTENSION NUMBER IN THE NAME FIELD
This test verifies that the VP 300 correctly processes a call to an extension that does
not have the extension number in the name field. Perform this test only for SX-2000
PBXs that do not have the COV Voice Mail Port class of service option.
A. In the PBX configuration, access the telephone directory form. Program phone B’s
name to be TEST B. Save and confirm the change.
B. Forward phone B to the VP 300 by going off-hook and dialing the feature access code
for Call Forward Follow Me followed by the extension number of the VP 300 hunt
group.
C. From phone A, call phone B. Does the VP 300 answer with the greeting for Trunk
Group 0?

D. Dial

to exit from the VP 300. Hang up phone A. Cancel forwarding for the
Superset 4 by going off-hook and dialing the feature access code for Call Forward
Follow Me, and hanging up. Cancel phone B’s programmed name in the telephone
directory form.
