• Select the desired value from the Allow Mute list.
• Click Confirm to save the change.
Keep Mute
Normally, Mute feature automatically deactivates when an active call ends.Keep mute also known as persistent
mute allows you to keep the mute state of your phone persist across the calls.
Once keep mute feature is enabled, you can activate the mute feature by pressing the MUTE key in an idle state or
any other state.The phone stays in the mute state until you un-mute the microphone or restart the phone.It prevents
the other party from hearing the noise coming from your room when auto answer is enabled on your phone.
When you mute the phone in an idle state or any other states, the mute key LED illuminates solid red and the icon
appears on the status bar.
Make sure that the Keep mute feature should be pre-configured by your system administrator.
Procedure
Keep mute can be configured using the configuration files or locally.
To mute a call:
• Press during an active call.
The mute key LED illuminates solid red.
To un-mute a call:
• Press again to un-mute the call.
• The mute key LED is turned off .
