Removing the brake lines from wheel circuit res-
ervoir to the pressure modulator

–

Remove the battery (

a

–

Drain rear control circuit/wheel circuit and front
wheel circuit (

a

34.16).

•

Open disposable clips (1,2) on supply tank

–

Remove pressure modulator (3) (

a

34.13).

•

Release the clips on the pressure modulator.

•

Remove hoses.

[Integral ABS] Installing rear brake

lines/hoses

•

Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure. Pay particular attention to the following:

Note:

Always replace the seals (arrow) between the brake
lines and the pressure modulator when you replace
the brake lines.

Warning:

Always replace the springs. Ensure correct position-
ing.

•

Fit new springs.

•

Clip in brake lines.

•

Ensure that the springs are correctly seated on
both sides.

e

Attention:

Replace the sealing rings of the brake line/hose.

–

Fill and bleed the rear brake system (

a

34.17).

•

Check the operation of the brake system.

Attention:

After all the work on the brake system has been
completed, run a bleed test using the

MoDiTeC!
