Removing/installing clutch lines

21 52 Removing/installing clutch pressure line

–

Remove left side section of fairing
(

46.10).

–

Remove the front section of the rear carrier
(

46.7).

•

Cut the cable tie on the injection rail and frame.

•

Remove banjo bolt (2) and remove sealing
rings (1).

•

Drain brake fluid from the reservoir and pressure
line (4) into a suitable vessel and dispose of it in
an environmentally acceptable manner.

•

Remove banjo bolt (3) and disconnect the pres-
sure line (4).

•

Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.

Note:

Route the clutch pressure line as illustrated.
Always use new sealing rings (1).

Fill clutch system with brake fluid (

00.62).

–

Bleed/adjust the clutch (

00.62).

–

Install left side section of fairing (

46.10).

–

Install the front section of the rear carrier
(

46.7).

Tightening torque:
