Removing/installing tail section

•

[Option, case carrier without luggage rack]

Detach the left and right case carriers from the
frame and the grab handles.

•

[Option, case carrier with luggage rack]

De-

tach the left and right case carriers from the
frame, the grab handles and the luggage rack.

Note:

The grab handle need not be removed.

–

Remove the left/right tail side sections
(

46.15).

•

Remove cover (1).

•

Undo the cable tie and disconnect the plug of the
rear light.

•

Detach the tail section at the left and right and at
the bottom from the frame.

•

Pull the tail section off to the rear.

•

Remove the spray guard from the tail section.

•

Remove the reflector.

•

Remove the number plate light.

•

Remove left and right flashing turn indicators and
the cross member.

•

Remove the rear light.

•

Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.

Remove the seat (

[Activated charcoal filter]

Undo the cable tie for

the activated charcoal filter at the front of the rear
carrier section.

•

Release the rear carrier section from the frame at
left and right (secured with clips).

•

Release the rear and front carrier sections to-
gether from the frame.

•

Release the carrier section from the battery car-
rier at the front.

•

Disconnect the plug for the power socket.

•

Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure.
