LA85 Port Tester
The LA85 port tester (Comcode 105138424) is recommended for troubleshooting
every S8700 Multi-Connect station trouble involving analog, DCP, MFET, MFAT, or
BRI configuration. The port tester detects the presence of voltage from
equipment ports and indicates the wiring status at the:
■
Wall field in the equipment room
■
Wall field in any intermediate closet
■
Wall jack at the station
■
Terminal and its cord
to isolate problems with the port tester.
