This screen displays the default privileges for a new user login account. Note that the default
privileges give the new user neither read nor write permission. To grant privileges to the user
account, enter a number from 1 to 5 as indicated in the display. To set
WRITE
privileges for a
single family of commands, enter
1
and press
<Enter>
. The display will prompt you for the
family number as shown here:
Give the family number : ( ) :
Enter the number of the command family for which you want to set
WRITE
privileges. Refer to
the ‘‘Command Family Table’’ on page 8-18 for the number.
For example, if you wanted to enable
WRITE
privileges for the Bridge command family, enter
the number

as shown here.
