Configuring an analog device DN record 879

General heading
The General heading allows you to assign a name to the analog device and to view the
physical port number assigned to the DN.
1 From Unified Manager, click on the keys beside Services , Telephony Services , System DNs ,
and Active set DNs .

2 Click on the key beside Set DNs .

Click on the DN record ( DN XXXX ) for an analog device.
4 Click on the General heading.

Use the table below to assign a name to the analog device.

Attribute Values Description
Name <up to seven
alphanumeric characters> This setting shows the DN number for the analog device.
Use this setting to provide a more specific description of the device, such
as the last name of the user or the device location.
Model Other This is a read-only setting when the analog device is installed on the
system.
Other represents analog devices.
