Configuring a data module

Line assignment
You can assign one or more lines to the BayStack data module for incoming data transmission.
Adding line assignments

On the navigation tree, click the
Resources
key and click the
Media Bay Modules
key.

Click the
Bus 08
key and click the
Data Module
key.

Click the
Line assignment
heading.

Click the
Add
button.
Or, right click the
Line assignment
heading and click
Add
.
The Add Line assignment screen appears.

In
Line
box, enter the number of the trunk or a target line you need to assign to the BayStack
data module.

Click the
Save
button.

Click the heading for the line you added.

In the
Dial-in number
box, enter the Dial-In Number for the line (up to 24 digits). The
number must match the Dial-In Number entered for the line and channel in BayStack data
module programming.

Assign additional lines to the BayStack data module as required.
Deleting line assignments

On the navigation tree, click the
Resources
key and click the
Media Bay Modules
key.

Click the
Bus 08
key and click the
Data Module
key.

Click the
Line assignment
key and click the heading for the line you want to delete.

Click the
Delete
button.
Or, right click the heading for the line assignment you want to delete and click
Delete
.
A confirmation dialog box appears.

Click the
Yes
button.
Note:
The data module will answer data calls only. It will not answer voice calls.
