Using the Network Update Wizard
When your system is first installed, the data resources are set up when the Quick Start Wizard is
run. Refer to
“Using the Quick Start Wizard” on page 108
.
If you need to change any of your system name, LAN, WAN, or dialup settings after your system
has been configured, you can use the Network Update Wizard.
Note:
Remember to update your Programming Records when you make any type of changes to
your system.
To update a LAN, WAN or DNS setting:

On the first page of the Unified Manager, click the
Wizards
button.

When prompted, enter your system
Login name
and
Password,
then click the
Login
button.

Click the
Network Update
icon.
The first page of the Network Update wizard appears. The information on this page reflects the
actual hardware installed in your system.

Fill out the fields for the data information that you want to change.
Refer to
“What you need to know” on page 639
.

Click
Next
.
The second page of this wizard is a summary page.

Check that the settings are correct.

Print out the page or save a copy on your computer to add to your programming records

Click
Apply
.
The system updates the settings.
