Button programming features
This section describes the features available for Button Programming on the telephone records.
Refer to the
Business Communications Manager Telephone Features User Guide
for information
about using these features.
Note that some of these features need other system settings in order to work.
•
Some of the buttons are controlled by what you choose for system programming and
Capabilities programming for the telephones. Paging is an example of a feature that requires
other settings.
•
Some features also require that the service be available on the line from your telephone service
provider. The types of lines provided are also determined by what region your system is
assigned. MCID (malicious call identification) is an example of this type of feature.

Send a message to another set within the network

Ring again
Sets Ring again feature.

Conference/Transfer
Initiates call between three parties.

Call Forward
Allows the user to enter a number to call forward current telephone.

Last number redial
Causes set to redial the last number it received.

Allows the user to page all sets.

Page - Zone
Allows the user to page a specific zone which is identified within the
Button programming.

Page - Speaker
Allows the user to page through the speaker on a specific telephone.

Page - Speaker and zone Allows the user to page through the speaker on telephones in a specific
zone, which is identified within Button programming.

Line Pool
Allows the user to access a line pool. Either specific pools assigned to
the telephone, or other general pools. The pool this button accesses is
specified during Button Programming for this feature.

Reply message
Allows the user to access messages and send a reply to the message
sender.

Cancel Message Waiting Allows the user to cancel the message waiting indicator.

Voice call
Allows the user to make an announcement or begin a call through the
speaker of another telephone.

Saved Number Redial
Allows the user to redial a number that they saved while on the call.
