Defining remote access packages
The Remote access packages setting allows you to control the remote use of line pools.
Create a remote access package by defining the system line pools remote users can access. You
then assign the package to individual lines, (refer to
“Defining line pool access for remote
packages”
), and to a particular Class of Service password (see
“Using COS passwords” on page
305
).
Defining line pool access for remote packages
Perform the following procedure for each package you defined in the previous section:

Click on the key beside
Line pool access
.

Click the
Add
button.
The Add Pool Access dialog box appears.

In the Pool field, enter a line pool.

Click
Save
.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 for all packages you require line pool access codes for.

to enable/disable remote paging for each pool in the Remote access package.
