On the Windows desktop, right-click on
the icon My Network Places and select

Properties

from the pop-up menu.

The Network Connections window appears. In
Windows 2000, this window looks a little
different and its name is Network and Dial-up
Connections.

Right-click the item Local Area
Connection and select

Properties

from the

pop-up menu.

The Local Area Connection Properties dialog
appears.

Select the entry Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
and click the Properties button.
