ISQ 7000 Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

20-Pin Feedthrough



To replace the 20-pin feedthrough:

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in

“Shutting Down the ISQ 7000 System”

page 149

2. Use a T20 Torxhead screwdriver to loosen the top cover panel and left side panel screws

from the interior front panel. Then slide the left and top cover panels toward the back of
the instrument and lift them off.

3. The lens driver board is the first board standing on end in the center of the instrument.

Note

You do not have to remove the ion source cartridge or the column. However, you

must vent the instrument.
