Performing Routine Maintenance

Cleaning the Ion Source Cartridge

Thermo Scientific

ISQ 7000 Hardware Manual

a. With your hand around the barrel, twist the tool until the alignment groove at the

end of the barrel aligns with the left screw around the slot vacated by the vacuum
interlock knob.

b. Twist and push the barrel to the right until it clicks into place under the screw at the

top of the slot.
