Replacing Components of the Analyzer

ISQ 7000 Hardware Manual

Quadrupole Wire Set

To replace the quadrupole wire set:

1. Shut down your system by following the steps in 

“Shutting Down the ISQ 7000 System” 

on 

page 149

.

2. Remove the analyzer tray from the instrument by following the instructions in 

“Removing the Analyzer Tray from the ISQ 7000 Instrument” 

on 

page 151

.

3. Remove the screws from each side of the exit endcap.

4. Remove the quadrupole rods and exit endcap from the tray.

5. Detach the exit endcap from the quadrupole rods.
