Kinetics
In the
Kinetics
panel you can set kinetics
parameters.
•
Click on the
Kinetics
tab to open the
Kinetics
panel (Fig. 40). Click again to close the panel.
•
Check the

box (Fig. 41) to obtain
the

panel
You have the following input boxes:
Point to point time (s)
indicate the time spacing between the different
kinetic time points in seconds. Enter the number in
the input box or use the scroll arrows.
Note, if the
Point to Point time
is chosen
too short compared to the needed
measurement time the system will
automatically calculate the minimal needed
Point to Point time
, in the example 10 s.
For example, if the measurement was set for
10 x 10 s, but the
Point to point time
to
50 s, than automatically the point to point
time will be set to 100 s, which is needed for
the measurement itself.
Number
indicate how often kinetic data points will be taken. Enter a number in the input box or use the scroll
arrows.
Please note that the hierarchy in which measurements are performed in kinetic experiments is
channel – repetition – position – kinetics. That means that one kinetic data point corresponds to a
measurement at all positions for all repetitions and all channels defined. It is not possible to run a
kinetic at one position and than go to the next to run the same kinetics again.
Shape
allows you to choose from three possibilities of distributing the time spacing between single data points:
const
(constant),
linear
and
exp
(exponential). Choose the appropriate entry from the drop down menu.
