Mode Measurements

B-Mode Measurements

Three basic measurements can be made in B-Mode.

Distance

Circumference/Area (Ellipse or Trace Methods)

Gray Scale Echo Level

Distance Measurement

Distance Measurements are typically made in the B-Mode
portion of the image.  To make a distance measurement:

Press the Measurement key once to display a “

” cursor.

Use the Trackball to move the “

” cursor to the measurement

start point.

Press Set to fix the measurement start point and display a
second “

” cursor.

Use the Trackball to move the second “

” cursor to the

measurement end point.
