Cleaning Instrument Parts

The instrument status must be in 

Standby

 in order to proceed with the steps below to 

clean the reagent/sample probes and mixer paddles.

while priming, or 
during routine 
operations, fluid leaks 
or bubbles are present,

remove bubbles from reagent (1) and sample (2) syringes, 
syringe lines (3), tips (4), and shear valves (5).  (Refer to 
Figure 10.3) Bubbles may be removed by gently tapping on 
the tubing or syringe during the prime function.

Refer to As-Indicated Maintenance in this section for 
syringe replacement.
