Impianto elettrico / Electrical System
255
Principio di funzionamento
Il sistema è costituito dall’antenna e
dalla piccola bobina presente nel
transponder i quali operano come i
due avvolgimenti di un
trasformatore.
In questo modo viene trasferita
l’energia dall’antenna al transponder
che non ha una propria
alimentazione autonoma.
Allo stesso modo il transponder
trasferisce il proprio messaggio,
attraverso l’antenna, alla centralina.
Il messaggio è costituito da una
lunga sequenza di “uno” e di
“zero” tale da poter ottenere più di
quattro miliardi di diversi codici e di
creare una oggettiva difficoltà ai
tentativi di riproduzione.
Giunto alla centrale attraverso
l’antenna il segnale, proveniente dal
transponder, viene amplificato ed
elaborato.
Viene quindi confrontato con codici
autorizzati.
Se il codice non è riconosciuto
come valido la centralina lo segnala
immediatamente attivando il led
presente sul quadro strumenti.
Programmazione immobilizer
Se si rendesse necessario
programmare l’immobilizer
procedere come riportato di
seguito:
- verificare che i poli della batteria
siano correttamente collegati;
- sfilare le tre chiavi dall’anella (1).
Importante
Quando si inserisce una
chiave è importante tenere le altre
lontano dall’interruttore a chiave,
onde evitare che interferiscano con
la procedura di programmazione.
Importante
Per realizzare una corretta
programmazione dell’immobilizer è
importante rispettare
scrupolosamente i vincoli di tempo
e tutte le altre condizioni descritte
nella procedura.
Se durante la procedura compare sul
display (4) la scritta OFF significa che
la programmazione è stata abortita.
●
inserire la chiave rossa (2)
nell’interruttore a chiave (3);
●
portare l’interruttore su “On”.

Operation
The system consists of the antenna
and the small transponder coil
working like the two windings of a
transformer. The antenna thus
powers the transponder which has
no independent power feeding.
The signal is then transferred, in the
same way, from the transponder to
the control unit via the antenna.
The message is composed by a
long sequence of “ones” and
“zeroes” creating more than four
billion different codes and
preventing replication.
The signal coming from the
transponder, via the antenna, is
amplified and processed by the
control unit.
The signal is then compared with
the authorized codes.
If the code is not recognized, the
relevant light on the instrument
panel switches on.
Programming the immobilizer
If needed, the immobilizer is
programmed as follows.
- Check that the battery terminals
are connected correctly.
- Remove the three keys from the
key ring (1).
Caution
When inserting a key in the
key-operated switch, keep the other
keys away or they may prevent
correct programming.
Caution
For correct programming, be
sure to perform each step of the
procedure within the specified
timing and observe the instructions
closely.
The word OFF appearing on the
display (4) while programming the
immobilizer indicates that
programming procedure has been
aborted.
●
Insert the red key (2) into the key-
operated switch (3) and
●
turn the switch to “On”.
