La pompa olio (3) è del tipo ad
ingranaggi e prende il moto
dall’albero motore tramite una
coppia dentata. La sua portata è
quindi in funzione del regime di
rotazione (vedi valori di controllo alla
sezione
“Manutenzione”
).
All'interno della pompa agisce una
valvola limitatrice che rimanda
l'eccedenza di olio in aspirazione, in
caso di pressione eccessiva.
L’olio viene prelevato dalla coppa,
attraverso un filtro a rete (1) che
trattiene le eventuali impurità
grossolane che potrebbero
danneggiare la pompa. All’uscita
della pompa l’olio circola nel filtro a
cartuccia (13).
Dopo il filtro, l’olio si divide in tre
canalizzazioni: due arrivano ai pistoni
lubrificando anche i cuscinetti di
banco.
La terza attraverso un condotto del
coperchio frizione, raggiunge
l’albero motore (12).
L’olio, passando all’interno
dell’albero motore, va a lubrificare i
semi-cuscinetti della testa di biella
(4); una parte raggiunge i getti che
raffreddano il cielo dei pistoni (9).
Continuando a fluire attraverso il
canale interno all’albero, l’olio,
mediante fori radiali sull’albero
stesso, lubrifica l’anello interno
ingranaggio avviamento e la ruota
libera avviamento.
Infine, fuoriuscendo dalla parte
opposta al suo ingresso, lubrifica il
cuscinetto di supporto albero
motore situato nel coperchio
alternatore. Attraverso i tubi di
mandata olio alle teste (9), esterni ai
carter, l'olio lubrifica le stesse teste.
L’olio, una volta uscito dal circuito in
pressione e lubrificati i vari organi
fin qui descritti, nel ricadere nel
basamento, lubrifica la trasmissione
primaria, il cambio ed i cuscinetti di
supporto degli alberi cambio.
Il circuito di sfiato dei vapori che
vengono a crearsi all’interno del
basamento comprende una valvola
di sfiato lamellare posta sulla

The oil pump (3) is a gear pump and
is driven by a gear pair on the
crankshaft. Its capacity, therefore,
depends on engine speed (see
control values in the
“
Maintenance
” section).
Inside the pump is a pressure relief
valve which diverts any excess oil
back to the intake if pressure is too
high.
The oil is taken from the sump,
through a mesh filter (1) which
retains any large impurities which
may damage the pump. After the
pump, oil gets to cartridge filter (13).
After the filter, the oil circuit
branches off in three channels: two
parts lubricate the pistons and main
bearings, the third one passes
through a duct on the clutch cover
and delivers oil to the crankshaft
(12).
Oil runs inside the crankshaft to
lubricate the bearings of the con-rod
big end (4); a certain quantity
reaches piston crown cooling jets
(9).
As it continues to flow through the
shaft inner oil duct, the oil lubricates
the starter gear inner ring and the
starter clutch through the oilways
arranged radially inside shaft.
Finally, coming out on the opposite
end, the oil lubricates the crankshaft
bearing in the generator cover.
Thanks to oil delivery pipes (9) that
are out of the casings, oil lubricates
the cylinder heads.
The oil, once it has come out of the
circuit under pressure and has
lubricated the various components
described above, drops into the
engine crankcase and lubricates the
primary drive, the gearbox and the
gearbox shaft bearings.
The breather circuit that removes oil
fumes from the crankcase includes
a breather reed valve on the top of
the right casing, an expansion
reservoir and a connection hose for
the air box.
