RIVAGE PM10 Operation Manual
Pairing
You can pair adjacent channels for stereo operation.
■
Input channels
You can pair either odd/even-numbered channels or even/odd-numbered channels. For single input
channels (monaural), the pan level is nominal at the center, and +3 dB at hard left or hard right. For
paired input channels, the balance level is nominal at the center, and +3 dB at hard left or hard right.
■
MIX buses and MATRIX buses
You can pair adjacent odd/even-numbered MIX buses or MATRIX buses.
NOTE
For information on the parameters that can be linked using the pair setting, refer to the data list.
Setting or defeating pairing on the panel
1.
For the two adjacent channels, hold down the [SEL] key of one, and press the
[SEL] key of the other.
The sequence of the two [SEL] keys will determine which channel parameters will be copied to
the other channel. When you pair channels, the parameters of the channel you pressed first
will be copied to the subsequently-pressed channel. For example, if you want to pair channel 1
and channel 2, press and hold down the channel 1 [SEL] key, and then press the channel 2
[SEL] key. The channel 1 parameter status will be copied to channel 2.
For information on the parameters that can be copied or linked by the pair setting, refer to the
data list.
2.
To defeat pairing, press and hold down the [SEL] keys of one of the paired
channels, and then press the [SEL] key of the other.
When MIX buses are paired, the signal flow will change as described below:
