This chapter explains the functionality and operations of the recorder.

2-track USB recorder

About the USB memory recorder

The RIVAGE PM10 system features an easy-to-use 2-track USB recorder.
The 2-track USB recorder enables you to record output signals from the STEREO bus or a MIX bus 
to a connected USB flash drive. You can also use it to play background music or sound effects that 
are stored on a USB flash drive by assigning them to an input channel. Due to a built-in SRC 
(sampling rate converter), as well as the input and output from the 2-track USB recorder, you do not 
have to worry about differences in sampling rates between the system and the recording/playback 
files. If the system’s sampling rate is the same as that of the recording/playback files, the SRC will 
automatically be bypassed.
The RIVAGE PM10 system supports WAV (uncompressed PCM) and MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-
3) file formats for recording and playback.
