TEST ABORTED: Waveform board test must pass before PCU can be tested.
This message appears when you have attempted to perform a self-test on the Pin Control Unit (PCU)
before the Waveform board has passed its self-test. Perform the Waveform board self-test prior to testing
the PCU.
TEST HALTED: Socket not empty, hit return to continue, ^Z to abort.
The self-test that you are attempting requires that the device socket not contain any devices. Remove the
socketed part and try the operation again, or type Ctrl + Z to abort the operation.
CAUTION: If you press the carriage return key, UniSite-
xpi will run the test, and the socketed device
could be damaged.
Testing
This message appears when a self-test is in progress.
The operation was not enabled.
This message appears when you have not entered ‘Y’ at the “Are you sure?” prompt on the screen for the
operation you tried to perform. Enter ‘Y’ at the prompt. Retry your operation.
This message also appears when the operation is blocked on your programmer for data security reasons.
Transferring data.
This message appears while a data transfer operation is being performed.

This message appears on the screen when UniSite-xpi enters the transparent mode. To exit transparent
mode, press E

Trc init err
UniSite-xpi has experienced an error that it cannot recover from; turn UniSite-xpi off and reboot the
system. If the error recurs, contact Data I/O Customer Support.
Too many revisions of the same Custom Menu algorithm.
The last letter of the file extension of a Custom Menu algorithm file runs from ‘A’ to ‘Z.’ This message
appears when all 26 letters have been used by the Custom Menu algorithm files of the same device.
Unable to load algorithm. Perform the Restore System Parameters operation.
The programmer was not able to load the device algorithm which was previously saved as part of the
power up default parameters. In order for the programmer to load the algorithm, the disk containing the
algorithm must be present during the boot process. In order to load the algorithm after this error, go to the
Restore System Parameters screen and load the power up default parameters or reboot the programmer
with the correct algorithm disk in the disk drive.
Unable to load power up device algorithm.
The programmer was unable to load the algorithm which was previously saved by the user as one of the
power up default parameters. This can be caused by the user’s not inserting the correct algorithm disk in
the drive. Ensure that the version number of the algorithm disk matches that of the Boot Files disk.
Unknown command.
This is a system error. Contact Data I/O.
