Parameter Field Full. Hit return or arrows to enter, CTRL Z to abort.
This message appears when you try to enter too many characters into a parameter field. Press E
NTER
, F1,
or F2, to enter the parameter.
Parity error during transfer. Data sum = ssssssss.
This error indicates that the parity of a received byte did not correspond with the parity selected on the
programmer. Make sure that the parity settings of the programmer match those of the machine it is
communicating with. If this error occurs after performing a high speed download, the communication
board in you PC may not be able to transfer data at 115.2 Kbd. In this case, either disable the high speed
download feature, or try a different communication board in the PC.

Power Down.
UniSite-xpi has experienced a power down condition.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: Base error.
An error was detected with the Base module. Perform the self-test on the Base; if the error persists, contact
your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: Base socket not empty.
If you get this error during the power-up self-test, check to make sure there are no devices in the
programming socket. If this error appears some time after self-test, it could mean there is a bad Pin Driver
board.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: FSM error.
An error was detected with the FSM module. Perform the self-test on the FSM module; if the error persists,
contact your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: FSM/PSM socket not empty.
If you get this error during the power-up self-test, check to make sure there are no devices in the
programming sockets. If this error appears some time after self-test, it could mean there is a bad Pin Driver
board.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: Mass Storage Module mount error. Reformat drive
x.
This message is displayed if the Mass Storage module gave an error when it was accessed. This may
indicate that the Mass Storage Module requires formatting. Perform the Mass Storage format operation; if
the error persists, contact your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: No Base installed.
If you get this error, install the Base and cycle the power (turn the programmer off, and then on again). If
the Base is installed and you get this message, there may be a Controller board problem.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: No FSM or PSM installed.
If you get this error, install the FSM or PSM and cycle the power (turn UniSite-xpi off and then on again). If
the FSM and/or PSM are installed and you get this message, there may be a Controller board problem.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: No pin drivers installed.
UniSite-xpi must have a Pin Driver board installed in connector J5, the left-most connector, in order to pass
the self-test. Make sure that the Pin Driver boards are properly installed.
