POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: PCU error.
If this error appears, cycle the power. If the message returns, then the PCU (pin control unit) is bad, there
is a bad Pin Driver board in the left-most position, or the Waveform board is faulty.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: Pin Driver error.
If this message appears, go to the self-test screen and check to see which Pin Driver board is faulty. Call
your nearest Data I/O Service Center and arrange replacement of the board.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: PSM error.
An error was detected with the PSM module. Perform the self-test on the PSM module; if the error persists,
contact your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: System RAM failed.
This power-up message is displayed if the power-on version of the System RAM test fails. Perform the
self-test for the System RAM; if the error persists, contact your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: User RAM failed.
This power-up message is displayed if the power-on version of the User RAM test fails. Perform the self-
test for the User RAM; if the error persists, contact your nearest Data I/O Service Center.
POWER UP SELFTEST FAILED: Waveform board error.
There is an error detected with the Waveform board. Call you nearest Data I/O Service Center and
arrange replacement of the board.
Pre-format check.
This message appears when you have selected the Format Disk operation and means that UniSite-xpi is
checking to see if the disk you want to format is a system disk.
If this error occurs, go to the self-test screen and re-execute the test(s) that show status of F (Fail). If the
test(s) fails while the device socket is empty, UniSite-xpi may require service. Contact Data I/O Customer
Support.
Premature End-of-file detected.
If file delimiters are used for data transfer, this message will indicate that the file delimiter was detected
during an unexpected condition (for example, within a data field). End-of-file delimiters are non-printable
ASCII characters used only with printable ASCII-type translator formats.
Product security violation.
This message indicates that the ID of the machine is not valid.
Program Err
This display indicates that a programming error has occurred during the last operation. Try another
device. The socketed device may be faulty.
Programmer set size limit (99) exceeded.
This error message occurs during a device serial set load operation, when the set member counter has been
exceeded, yet the available memory has not. The programmer limit is 99 devices.
