Bad Directory name.
The directory name entered is not a valid directory name.
Base for the device selected is not installed.
The device you selected cannot be programmed in the Base that is presently installed. If you select a device
that is not supported by the installed Base, the Load, Program, Verify, and Device Check screens cannot be
entered. Install the correct Base and try the operation again.
Begin address too large.
The beginning address you selected in the memory editor was too large and is beyond the limits of the
selected device. Change the begin address to one within the device’s range.
Beginning of file
This message appears when you are viewing the first block of data and press C
TRL
+ P (previous page)
when you are using the memory editor, vector editor, fuse editor, or the under/overblow feature.
Booting non-system disk. Insert system disk. Type ESC and CTRL W to reboot.
This message will appear if UniSite-xpi detects a disk other than the Boot Files disk installed in drive A
during power up. Insert the Boot Files disk.
Buffer full. Insert Custom Menu algorithm disk.
The Custom Menu algorithm building process uses user RAM as a buffer. This message appears when all
available user RAM has been used and it is time to save the contents of the buffer onto the Custom menu
algorithm disk.
Bus err
UniSite-xpi has experienced an error that it cannot recover from; turn UniSite-xpi off and reboot the
system. If the error recurs, contact Data I/O Customer Support.
Bytes copied = nnnnnn.
This message appears while the Copy File operation is in progress; nnnnnn refers to the number of bytes
copied.
Calculating sumcheck.
This message appears when you are using the Device Check’s Sumcheck screen. It informs you that the
RAM sumcheck is being calculated.
Cannot access file.
This message indicates that a file cannot be accessed. If you are using a floppy disk, insert the correct disk.
If you are using the Mass Storage Module, you need to update your Mass Storage Module.
Cannot access system disk.
This message indicates a non-system disk is installed. Make sure the Algorithm disk and Boot Files disk
are installed.
Cannot allocate file space.
The disk is full. Store the data on another disk or delete some current disk files that are not longer needed.
Cannot begin job file recording from this screen.
This message appears when you attempt to create a new job file from an illegal screen: one that cannot be
part of a job file. Use a different screen to start the job file.
