UniSite-xpi User Manual

Safety

The UniSite-xpi and all legacy programmers are certified by UL to comply
with the following safety standards:

IEC 801-2 (

UniSite-xpi (part number 991-0014-058 and earlier versions) is certified to
meet VDE 0871 Limit B.

Certificate of
RFI/EMI Compliance

Data I/O certifies that the UniSite-xpi and all legacy programmers
comply with the Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic
Interference (EMI) requirements of EN55022 Class A and EN50082-1 as
called out in 89/336/EEC, the EMC Directive for the European
Community.

WARNING: This equipment is a class A product. In a domestic
environment this product may cause radio interference, in which case
the user may be required to take adequate measures.

Performance
Verification

UniSite-xpi verifies internal voltages every time it is powered up and
every time a complete self-test is run. The voltage verification is
performed by software and is compared to a laser-trimmed voltage
reference.

Data I/O recommends that you cycle power AND run a complete self-
test cycle at least every three months.

To ensure that your UniSite-xpi continues to meet product performance
specifications, Data I/O recommends that your programmer be returned
to an authorized Data I/O Service Center every twelve months for a
complete performance evaluation.
