No Keep Current algorithm files found.
No Keep Current Algorithms files were found for the selected Keep Current operation. If you are
performing View or Delete, no Keep Current algorithm files are found.
If you are performing Replace/Restore, no restorable Keep Current algorithm files are found.
If you are performing Purge, no incompatible Keep Current files are found.
Non-blank device. Hit Return to continue, ^Z to abort.
This message appears after UniSite-xpi has performed a blank check on a device and has detected bits that
are not in their erased or blank state, and are not illegal bits. If you press E
NTER
, UniSite-xpi proceeds with
the Programming operation and programs over the existing data. If you press C
TRL
+ Z, the Program
screen will reappear and you can try the operation again with another device. The Blank Check parameter
must be enabled before this test can be performed.
Non-blank Err
UniSite-xpi has detected programmed locations in this device. You may still program over the existing
data if you wish (by pressing E
NTER
or moving the lever to START); this is merely a status message.
No old Custom menu algorithm files found.
Cannot find any Custom Menu algorithm files that are not compatible with the current system software.
Check the files on your installed disk. The drive name for the old Custom menu algorithm files is
displayed on the screen.
Odd Memory Begin Address is not allowed.
This message appears when the Memory Begin Address is set to an odd number and you try a device
operation on a 16-bit (or larger) device. Set the Memory Begin Address to an even number and retry the
device operation.
OPERATION ABORTED BY USER (review: E
SC
key for download?)
If you press C
TRL
+ Z or C
TRL
+ C to abort an operation, this message will appear. After you have aborted
an operation, it must be reexecuted; the programmer will not allow you to resume the same operation.
OPERATION ABORTED: Cannot erase partial device.
The entire device size must be specified if you want to bulk-erase an EEPROM. Either set the Device Begin
Address to 0000 and Block Size equal to the device’s size, or disable the EEPROM erase option.
OPERATION ABORTED: Capacitor configuration error.
The capacitor configuration on your programming module is not compatible with the pinout of the device
selected. A capacitor is located on a pin that is not a GND, VCC, or NC. This can result in unreliable
operations. Install a programming module with capacitors located only on GND or VCC pins.
This error also will appear if there was a device in the socket when you most recently selected a device.
That would prevent the programmer from accurately identifying the capacitor locations.
Additionally, if you change capacitor configurations without changing programming modules or
reselecting a device, the programmer will not have identified the current capacitor locations.
If the correct test site configuration is installed, reselect the device with the socket empty and try the
operation again.
Operation aborted due to HiTerm error.
When this message appears, refer to the HiTerm status line at the bottom of the screen for specific HiTerm
errors.
