Light sensor at the rewinder dancer lever (ALX 92x)
Functioning
The backing paper dancer lever controls the speed at which the back-
ing paper is rewound. The unwinder rotates fastest when the dancer le-
ver is loose . The rewinder rotates more slowly the more the dancer lever is
moved out, until it comes to a stop in the middle . The dancer lever needs the
area from the middle to the tightened position, when the printer is transporting
the label strip backwards.

Important notes
The setting procedure for the dancer lever differs, depending on the motor
output stage applied to control the rewinder motor:
• R04A motor output stage (--> 1/2012):
– Rewinder lever sensor is connected to the (R04A) output stage board
which controls the rewinder motor.
