M5A output stage board
Application notes

The M5A output stage is integrated into all print & apply machines (ALX,
DPM, PEM) since 1/2012.

Required firmware version:
– DPM, PEM, ALX 92x: 6.37Post6811 or higher
– ALX 73x(PMA): 6.39SR1 or higher

With the M5A output stage, both motor type as well as motor rotation directi-
on (RH/LH machine) are subject to jumper setting (in contrast to the M4A,
where only the motor type has to be set).

The M5A output stage can be retrofitted into older machines (installation in-
struction see topic section „Service mechanics“, chapter „Boards“ > „Retrofit-
ting M5A output stages“.
