Channel Restart Mode
illustrates the operation of a context restore for a “new” channel program
when Channel Restart Mode has been selected (see
). The PC is loaded
with the channel entry table address, and the lower half of R7 is loaded from CR7[15:0].
The upper half of CR6 is discarded. The operating priority of the channel is taken from
CR6[31:24] and all of R6 is loaded from CR6.
