Interface operation
0 = standard RS232C/RS422 full duplex
1 = decade switch IDS01 (2400 baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity)
2 = like 0
3 = RS485, half-duplex, station number 01
4 = RS485, half-duplex, station number 01 - 32
Baud rate (300 to 115200 baud)
000000 = interface is disabled
The CLM’s serial interface can exchange data with the system in different
ways. The selected transmission format is defined in Parameter B002.
Details are described in section ’Serial Interfaces’.
If the decade switch input is preselected via an IDS01 unit, the other
values need not be input.
Note:
If Parameters B002 and B003 are correctly stored, the serial
interface is immediately ready for operation. Erroneous inputs
in the parameters disable the serial interface.
Example for decade switch querying:
For the decade switch, the transmission parameters for the interface are
stipulated as follows:
2400 baud
8
Data bits
1
Start bit
1
Stop bit
no parity check
